Regina Marklund
Board Member – Turner Construction Company
Regina Marklund is Director of Business Development for Turner Construction Company in Vancouver and a construction leader with more than two decades of experience in Canada and the United States.
Throughout her career with Turner, Regina has held leadership roles spanning estimating, project management, field operations, construction management and business development. She moved to Vancouver in 2016 to help grow Turner’s presence in British Columbia and has since played an integral role in the development of the Vancouver business. Her experience includes leading Turner’s interiors division, where she developed and executed the group’s strategic business plan, as well as leading the delivery of The Post, a 1.1-million-square-foot commercial tenant improvement project in downtown Vancouver.
Regina holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Hofstra University and brings to the BCCA Board both an operational understanding of construction and a strong business and industry-development perspective.
An active advocate for British Columbia’s construction and commercial real estate communities, Regina is Past Chair of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association and a Past President of CREW Vancouver. She has held numerous industry leadership positions focused on strengthening the construction community, developing future leaders and advancing opportunities for women in the industry. Regina was also recognized with CREW Vancouver’s 2021 Woman of Influence Award.
Regina believes a strong construction industry is built through collaboration, relationships and investment in people. As a BCCA Director, she is committed to strengthening connections across British Columbia’s construction community and contributing a contractor and business-development perspective to the issues and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.
