We are looking for an organized, people-focused Employment Liaison Specialist to help incoming Canadian Permanent Residents build their career in Canada before they land. Perhaps you have a HR or job developer background, worked on the operations or recruitment side of construction businesses, or maybe you’ve spent time in the trades or construction professions.  Either way, you feel your practical industry knowledge and connections can be leveraged to ensure skilled immigrants add value to the construction industry as soon as possible. Your genuine interest in people also drives you to be available to advise, guide and help professionals, help themselves.

Overview
The BC Construction Association (BCCA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to spearhead our expansion efforts of the Builders Code. https://www.builderscode.ca/.

Development potential exists both within British Columbia and nationally, as we seek to secure adoption of the Builders Code Pledge by, and interest in the Builders Code training program from, 100% of construction employers both provincially and nationally. Working with construction associations in jurisdictions from coast to coast to coast, BCCA hopes to encourage all regions to adopt and circulate this valuable resource.
