BCCA Statement on Canada / US Trade
This bulletin was prepared by select members of the Canadian Construction Association’s (CCA) General Contractors National Advisory Council. Its purpose is to assess the potential impacts of tariffs and counter-tariffs on general contractors in Canada.
Submissions will be accepted until April 2, 2025
During the early hours of the morning of March 4, 2025, Donald Trump formally imposed 25% tariffs on Canadian goods exported to the US, and 10% tariffs on energy products.
