On October 21, BCCA executives and several contractors met in Vancouver with BCIB President and CEO Irene Kerr and members of her staff. The goal of the session was to build a relationship with BCIB and gain a better understanding of their mandate, their goals, and their achievements so far. We also sought to represent the questions, concerns, and interests of the contractors, with the contractors in the meeting leading the bulk of the discussion for the 2 hours. The discussion was respectful and productive, however, did not yield any meaningful new operational details about the PLA. We will continue to pursue further details and present industry concerns to BCIB.
