Board members are responsible for overseeing the Organization’s operations, while maintaining our commitment to the Organization’s mission. BCCA has several Standing and Ad-Hoc Committees to assist with its governance and operations.

The committee exists to protect the interests of the BCCA Board and the BCCA membership with respect to the financial management and oversight of the BCCA.
The purpose of the Executive Committee is to help ensure the effective governance of BCCA by providing effective and timely guidance to both the Chair and the President on emerging, time-sensitive, significant issues arising between meetings of the Board of Directors.
The Governance Committee’s purpose is to maintain and seek continuous improvement in high standards of board governance for the purpose of enhancing Board and corporate performance of the BCCA.
The committee exists to monitor, assess and advise on the impact of evolving industry practices with respect to forms of contract, surety issues and tendering and procurement standards.
The BOBS Committee administer the functions within the BOBS Rules and the Complaint & Appeal Process.
The Council of Construction Associations (COCA) was created to present a united front and systematic approach to WorkSafeBC, Technical Safety BC and the Provincial Government in regards to construction’s workplace health and safety interests.
